Mapleblume October Box + Giveaway

It's always fun to learn about new Eco Beauty Subscription boxes! I have had the pleasure of receiving the Mapleblume Box a few times now.  It's a luxury subscription box, that has at least 5 full size or deluxe sample size products. Each box contains a combination or skincare and cosmetic products.  Each product is tested and chosen for the utmost quality and performance.

The October box featured a selection of products, and included a few of my favourite brands, Fitglow Beauty, Graydon Clinical Luxuries, and Au Naturale to name a few. This October issue sold out incredibly fast, but on November 1st, you may purchase the December box (which I am sooo excited about!) This makes a great gift idea too!

Continue to enter the giveaway and read about my first impressions of each product that came in the October Box.

Graydon Clinical Luxuries Aloe Milk Cleanser - $25.00
I love a creamy cleanser. Now that I'm in my 30's, maintaining moisture in my skin is so important to me, and that's why I often choose an oil based cleanser.  The Aloe Milk Cleanser by Graydon does wonders for removing makeup and impurities from the skin.  The formula bonds with makeup and impurities to cleanse and leave the skin feeling fresh, without any tightness. It has a nice uplifting scent of Pink Grapefruit Geranium and Blood Orange, which comes from pure essential oils.  It's works beautifully as a first cleanse in my evening skincare routine, and I love the pump.  It's practical for travel, or tossing in a gym bag for a post workout cleanse.

Fitglow Beauty Lip Colour Serum - $54.00
If you have ever used the Fitglow Beauty Good Gloss, welcome the new and improved Lip Colour Serum. You are going to love this! It boasts a vegan collagen, and adds colour and hydration.  It leaves the lips nicely tinted, smoothe, and glossy without being sticky.  This formula gently plumps the lips, and well pretty much everything Fitglow Beauty makes is simply the best.  I can't rave about these enough!

Au Naturale Swipe on Eye Pencil in Coco - $27.00
I was beyond excited that au Naturale was being featured in the October box.  They recently rebranded, and their new packaging is on point. My favourite way to apply this eye pencil, is at the lower lash line. It works beautifully, and the shade Coco isn't too warm, but the perfect dark brown that doesn't appear too harsh on my fair skin. It lasts well, and looks really nice with the rich brown eyeshadows that I have been loving this fall.

Inlight Super Food Mask - $63.00
Masks are something that I am always a little nervous about, they can be very potent with active ingredients that can cause irritation to my rosacea prone skin. After using this mask my skin was left feeling hydrated, which is usual for a mask that has such detoxifying ingredients.  It didn't flare up my rosacea, and left my face feeling so soft. If you have sensitive skin, but want to incorporate a detoxifying treatment, this is a wonderful product as it's the perfect marriage of both. Some star ingredients are spirulina, baobob, carrot root, and rose seed oil. It's 100% organic, and totally free of synthetics. The scent is very uplifting, and ideal for a early morning pamper routine.

Kanye BIOFERM Eye Balm - $48.00
The perfect example of why I enjoy subscription boxes.  Kunye is a Canadian line that I have never heard of, and in all honesty this was the very first product I tried from the box. I am always so excited to learn about new Canadian brands. This eye balm is supposed to help brighten and de-puff the under eye area.  I have been using it every day since it arrived and am enjoying it immensely. It hydrates and smoothes my under eye without being too heavy. Only the littlest amount is needed, so I can see where this will last me a long while. It can also be used on the lips, and cuticles for extra hydration.

Delia Organics Dose of C Serum - $39.99
Funny, this is the second vitamin C serum that I have had the chance to try this month.  It's very hydrating, and I love the milky consistency that leaves the skin feeling so smooth. My first impressions are excellent. It can be used AM & PM, and I would definitely recommend for all skin types. I noticed it to have a slightly cooling sensation on my skin, which felt lovely. Vitamin C serums are great for reducing hyper pigmentation, and also helping with uneven skin texture.

Niu Body PiƱa Colada Sugar Lip Polish - $10.00
Another Canadian line that I had never heard of, out of Toronto, Ontario is Niu Body, and this sugar lip polish smells AMAZING! It removes dead skin cells with a nice amount of hydration without leaving the lips feeling too slippery with oils.  It's nice as a pre-lipstick polish.  Some nourishing ingredients include: coconut oil, avocado oil, and shea butter.  Did I mention the coconut scent smells good enough to eat!
